Default Tactics

First Choice If he has preparation time then he’ll begin by casting mage armour, which gives him a +4 bonus to armour class. For most of the fight, though, Private Ekaha-Ow will be swinging his magical (non-talking) sword. He has +12 to hit on his first swing of the round, and +7 to hit with his second. He deals 1d8+2 points of damage.

Second Choice If forced into ranged combat, Private Ekaha-Ow uses his magical longbow. He has +16 to hit with his first arrow and +11 with his second, and deals 1d8+2 points of damage.

Last Choice Private Ekaha-Ow prefers a fighting retreat. If forced to withdraw, he will attack once each round before moving.

Ekaha-Ow enjoyed his life as a reclusive sorcerer before his conscription, but since being forced to learn martial combat has discovered (much to his own amazement) that he loves rushing into battle. He has greatly desired to wield a talking telepathic sword ever since he has heard such things are about. In spite of his newfound joy in combat, Ekaha-Ow resents being drafted and is strongly considering deserting. He is loyal to his captain, but if she dies he’s leaving the military.

Ekaha-Ow’s primary veil persona is a red-headed human fighter.

Before his military career, Ekaha-Ow spent a lot of time clearing rubble out of ruins. He loves the sense of satisfaction gained by restoring something that was obviously important a very long time ago. He much prefers underground ruins, where weather hasn’t disturbed everything.

Private Ekaha-Ow is in his third squad since being drafted. He was the only survivor of the first one, and one of only three survivors of the second (along with Baalam and Cachi-Ooitil). He feels that this indicates that he’s lucky. In order to keep his luck going, he has enacted a policy of burning all the bodies of fallen enemies. Since enacting this policy he has burned three vegepygmies and a camulatz.

Private Ekaha-Ow particularly hates vegepygmies.
