Favoured Class [not warrior or ranger or fighter or barbarian]
Rage (Ex) A barbarian can call upon inner reserves of strength and ferocity, granting her additional combat prowess. Starting at 1st level, a barbarian can rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + her Constitution modifier. At each level after 1st, she can rage for 2 additional rounds. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as those gained from rage and spells like bear’s endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that a barbarian can rage per day. A barbarian can enter rage as a free action. The total number of rounds of rage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive.
While in rage, a barbarian gains a +4 morale bonus to her Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, she takes a –2 penalty to Armour Class. The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points per Hit Dice, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.
A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends, placing her in peril of death.
Track (Ex) A ranger adds half his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow or identify tracks.
Wild Empathy (Ex) A ranger can improve the initial attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person (see Using Skills). The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.
Combat Quick Reference
First Choice: Gravy knows that all true warriors are mounted on some sort of noble steed, so he tries to ride one. Once he has succeeded at this, he charges his steed into combat. He has not yet succeeded at finding someone to make a lance for him, but he is hopeful!
Second Choice: Gravy will fight to protect his wife. If Brea is threatened, he goes into a rage and charges. While charging and raging, he has +10 to hit and deals 1d2+3 damage.
Last Choice: If he can't be mounted and he can't charge, Gravy will still punch someone before running away. While not raging, Gravy's punch has +6 to hit and deals 1d2+1 damage. While raging his punch has +8 to hit and deals 1d2+3 damage.
Paranoid: Currently, Gravy believes his wife may be a snake.
Gravy is a man of passions. He feels whatever he feels very strongly, until he starts feeling something else.
It was Gravy’s idea to ride the giant scorpion, and he was very sad when it died. His desire to relive those days means he will try to ride anything over medium size. Though he can, in fact, speak to scorpions, nobody believes him and he has not yet met a scorpion smart enough to have a conversation with.
Gravy is now happily married to Brea Solaan, after a quick wedding in Tazion. Brea is now queen of all goblins, and even though Gravy knows that should make him king, he isn’t quite sure Brea feels the same way. Besides, there’s already a goblin king. Who isn’t married to the queen. So maybe he isn’t really the king. Or maybe this makes Gravy a bigger king!
Gravy fell off a pteranodon and was knocked unconscious. After the fight, Dark Fire declared that he was dead, and people took all his clothing and equipment and left him lying by the river.
